26/11 Exhibition
December 26 through December 28, 2008
Commemorating the one month of the November 26, 2008 attack on the Mumbai, 26/11 (ArtAttack), an exhibition at the Lokayata: Mulk Raj Anand Centre, will be on view from December 26 through December 28, 2008. Drawn from the artist’s heart, it includes paintings, drawings, and instalation. Ranging from various blast photographs to contemporary works, the exhibition focuses on the places around India before, during, and after the attack.
Among the works on view are paintings & instalation by Sukanta Biswas, Chandan Das, Amarendra Moharana & Dinabandhu Marandi.
ArtAttack is being co-organized by Chandan Chakravorty, Curator and Director Planet Art Pvt. Ltd., Vignesh Jha, President, PATH & Rajesh C Dalal Director, JD Institute of Fashion Technology.
